CEU Course Description

The goal of this CEU course is to provide nursing home administrators with thorough knowledge that concentrates on the legal and ethical issues that they encounter in their daily profession.

CEU Course Objectives

  1. Enumerate which records must be kept permanently.
  2. Explain the most important priority, as identified by a healthcare organization's code of ethics.
  3. Investigate what ethical decisions should be based on.
  4. Scrutinize what must be demonstrated in order to seek a case based on negligence.
  5. Elucidate signs that elder abuse could be occurring.
  6. Identify what can be used to make a patient's wishes known to healthcare professionals when the patient cannot convey their desires.
