This course was developed from the Occupational Safety and Health Administration publication which provides a general overview of a particular standards-related topic. The publication discusses: sources of indoor air pollutants; common pollutant categories; prevention or control IAQ problems; and applicable standards and regulations.
CEU Course Objectives
1. Be aware of the amount of time that the CDC estimates the majority of Americans spend indoors.
2. Enumerate what the relative importance of any single pollution source depends on.
3. Identify the type of pressure that buildings should be maintained under.
4. Appreciate the level of volatile organic compounds indoors relative to outdoors.
